The show was a spectacle that combined rock and classical music through a live orchestra, brought together an international cast that performed in three different languages, delivered impeccable choreography featuring martial arts and classical dance and also didn’t forget the traditional component of wayang , as shadow puppets occasionally flickered over three big screens.

"Volland Humonggio, who played Hanoman, wore a unique outfit. His body was painted in white and there was fur glued to him, especially around the face and head, to give him an ape-like appearance. He also fully embodied his half-existence between monkey and human, jumping and leaping on the stage like an animal while making monkey sounds. He was also the only one in the cast who presented his character comically rather than dramatically, earning him a lot of laughs from the audience." (The Jakarta Globe, February 25, 2013)
